Work
Activity Program
VIP’s Work
Activity Program provides valuable experience
through a variety of in-house contract work and trial
community placements. Each client’s skill level
and interests are evaluated and used to develop appropriate
individualized employment services.

Supported
Employment Program
The Supported
Employment Program offers assistance in gaining
and maintaining community employment with the assistance
of a Job Developer and a Job Coach. Individual and
group placements are located throughout VIP’s
service areas.
|

|
Direct
Placement
Direct
Placement services
are specifically geared for individuals referred
by the Department of Rehabilitation. Individuals
are assisted in the procurement of integrated and
competitive employment based upon individual interest,
experience, abilities, and training. Job Coaching
services are provided as needed to maintain employment.

|
|
Vocational
Evaluation
Vocational Evaluation is
a short-term (one to three months) program for any
Department of Rehabilitation client used to assess
feasibility for supported or competitive employment.
Trial community placements, group presentations,
and discussions will be utilized as tools for the
assessment.

|
|
PVSA
Services
Individualized Personal, Vocational, and Social
Adjustment (PVSA) Services promote the elimination of employment
barriers by offering training in interpersonal communication, self-advocacy,
pre-employment skills, and more.
